A chance in a million.......
I am selling my trusty old Wrangler Jeep 'Kaswar'..... "It's a Beast.
It's been all over Egypt, broken down many many times but has now faithfully been totally revamped and reconditioned.
"This is your chance of a lifetime to acquire a 'genuine American Wrangler original.
We are not talking cheap here, I'll start at 65k but settle for 50k after we.... 'haggle somewhat!
It also has a sound-system to frighten the life out of people...
4 wheels one in each corner & as you can seen one on the back, for safety reasons..
NB: Cash only no IOU's or CC's. we accept only $$$ £££ or Yen.
Reason for Sale ? "I can have more fun on an ATV or Quad Bike"

It's an antique we don't talk about it's age or milage.
But it's Youthful although vintage..
Ps: it not only stands out in a crowd, it can run over a crowd!

Re: A chance in a million.......
As no daft MMD's wish to con some OAP into buying my 'f***off classic antique jeep, 'sod them, I'm now not flogging it, they don't deserve it.
I'm now going to forgo alcohol & smokey comestibles to save up for my quad bike.
Then I'll then become 'the hawadja terror of the ash-felt.
So, these are the felucca sail makers making me a "jeep tent....
It looks just like 'pass the parcel...la whaala!

I don't have a MMD, but I gave the purchase of your jeep careful consideration. Ultimately I decided that, given your historic (and present ?) chosen lifestyle confessions, I'd rather trust a dodgy care sales man, in fact a very dodgy car sales man.

Re: A chance in a million.......
Well as, not to look a 'sailmaker-in-the-eye. (should have been 'gift horse in the mouth) I have decided we can recover around the gaff.
So off in the 'tuck tuck to the local Gurna upholsterer, he knows me from old.
After a load of 'wimmin haggling for 1/2 hour, chai & a few fags, we charge back with another 30 meters of 'Jeep wrap™
I can guarantee that the 'gaff will look like a margate beach scene or a harem.
And they said "No drink until we finish, which could be next week, we shall see..la whaala!...
'Shito on the right & 'Jimmy on the left, who's wearing a Hendrix T-shirt.
Ps: note the new 6% Desperados beer box in the back ground....(flavoured with Tequila)...

Re: A chance in a million.......
All this sewing around reminded me of "Eight stitches to the inch, not six or ten, its eight, got it?
Mailbags !
Not that Iv'e ever had to do it but, my mate Bruce had to, just to rub it in..
So here's the reverse of a silver mailbag, remembering him on his passing..
Just lift & twist your laptop clockwise....'sorry about that, 'tekinology! [sic]

Re: A chance in a million.......
So another day another $, they have their own music system going, her 'next door Aida stood 'gwaping and is off to tell all and sundry that I'm having new cushion covers made..
So, tomorrow is another day more sewing, music oh! and beer for me...
It's a tough old life but, that's the price one pays for walking out of step.

Day 3: of The Great Egyptian Sew-In. 1400hrs....
And also, I bought in Mohammed 'sabak who has been looking after all things water here for over 10 years.
( He's a farmer when he's not plumbing )
"Onward and upward......
My main object of today is, to keep them on chai rather than Desperado's unlike myself who as the 'Moudier
is absolved of all such petty restrictions...

Re: A chance in a million.......
I must admit my dear Dr, it's a handsome brute, The Jeep, that is.
When I was young, much younger than today, I was given the choice, I could either have a Morgan £5,000, MGB-GT £3,500, an old military Jeep £dirt cheap.. In the end although I loved the latter, I went for the MG, being that there was a long waiting list for a Morgan, being hand made, and all that. The purchase would be a gift, the rest I would have to pay.
I first went to check how much fully comp insurance, I was horrified £350, I then learnt that I was to tax the damn thing, a future annual M.O.T., pay to park it any time I'm in town, ............and then they had the cheek to tell me that before it would move I had to put something in it called petrol, at 87p per gallon, for Christ sake.
I am pleased to tell you I have never driven any car in my whole life. These days as I study traffic here in London, it has to be said that any good driver must always regard the driver in front and behind as idiots and never forget it, I never regretted making that decision early in life.
P.S. - It don't stop me admiring yer old banger though. .

If you had been a driver, you would know that it is not only the drivers front and rear of you that are idiots but also those either side of you too!A-Four wrote:

And lets not forget the idiot pedestrians wandering all over the road and stepping off kerbs, plus cyclists weaving about on your blind side and running red lights.HEPZIBAH wrote:If you had been a driver, you would know that it is not only the drivers front and rear of you that are idiots but also those either side of you too!A-Four wrote:

Re: A chance in a million.......
Got to challenge that Horus, pedestrians should always have the right of way. You lot sitting in your cars in air conditioned comfort or protected from the rain and cold should have a little more consideration for us poor pedestrians. We don't pollute and if we do meander across the road, stop suddenly in the middle to have a little contemplate well it's just the nature of the beast.
