Yes I am I admit it, I am addicted to The Archer's and have listened to it for years.
At the moment the trial is just beginning of a woman who is accused of attempting to murder her husband.
The local vet's wife is fed up with her marriage and is all over the local doctor who isn't interested he fancies the local lady of the manor who seems to reciprocating his attentions.
Yes an everyday story of country folk. :)
Wish I lived in Ambridge. Mind you with all the gossips not much different from Luxor.

I used to be hooked on the Archers too. Not sure why I stopped listening to it but I did and that was years ago. I have heard a little about Helen and how she comes to be on trial in the first place though. I still think of her as a teenager! Perhaps I should start listening again as it has to be better than much of the viewing choices on television.

I was having dinner with some of my favorite people in Luxor who may be reading this. They went on and on about The Archers all evening and lowered themselves to explain it briefly to me, before they continued discussing The Archers.

The very same friends had pitied me for taking time to stay in contact with people around The World. They were far too busy and important to waste their time on something as trivial as ... facebook, which was beneath them.

We could all laugh at it.

So, the husband survived?
