As a bit of a reptile expert myself I was fascinated by the Australian Pythons which apparently are termed restrictors, so I assume that they confine their prey instead of actually killing it by constriction? :ni:

I'll join Horus on the "nature trivia" trail.....

The barramundi is an interesting fish. It can change its sex....although probably not as often as MT changes his persona.

Australia's national bird - the emu - is unusual in that it can't walk backwards. It shares this feature with the kangaroo which , allegedly, is why these two species feature on the Australian crest. "Advance Australia Fair"....geddit?

Even more surprising is that during 2016 there were Crocodiles siting (sic) on the tourist beaches, probably trying to get a tan ;)

It would be interesting to know how many people posting on this subject or making comments have actually been, I know some of you have in a past life or rather a younger life. Maybe many have missed the boat now though
I do have to admit I love reading some of the posts on the forum, and the comments following no matter how few there seems to be these days, no matter how some of them bring old members and readers (Not Posters) out of the woodwork. I love to collect the posts of the gangs, the super troopers, the ones that are gullible and those who follow others as if tied to their necks. Personally I prefer to be an individual with my own thoughts, own actions, and no matter how others don't like them, I will never be changed. I do like to read and laugh at gossip, how others refer to other people, how many have so many misconceptions about others. Like another member I love to set up a good story and wait for it to come back to me in another form or in another context, you get the know of the gossipers that way. My problem is I often forget who I told what story to who. So nowadays I need to make notes ha ha....... Dreadful isn't it.

In other words you admit to being an habitual liar and a storyteller, so maybe now you will realise why everyone else treats anything you write as a joke. You may have thought you were fooling everyone and having a laugh, but in fact it was you that everyone was laughing at.
You are obviously a legend in your own mind and that is really quite pathetic and sad. :|

Been where? Which boat?

Are you writing about this forum? Who are these gangs, super troopers, the gullible, etc?

A mind that is closed to change is a mind that is closed. One should always be open to learning and new things and being prepared to make changes in one's life. It is the way to grow and develop as a person, no matter how old you are.

Perhaps that first sentence would be more accurate if you had written 'I do like to stir up gossip. I also like to listen to gossip and read things that I can gossip about or turn into gossip.'
'...you get the know of the gossipers that way' - is that so that you can feel more comfortable in a gossipers clique or coven - like meeting like?

You must have a very large stash of notebooks by now. Question is how you remember which bit of information you wish to recall and throw back out there. In the mean time, many others still have very good memories and recognition capabilities.

That is such a shame that you feel you and/or your life is pathetic. There is so much you could do to alleviate this for your self. In fact, no matter what help and influences others are, only you can bring around this change in and for yourself. A big help though would be in getting rid of those negative forces that seem to surround you, gossips and gossiping being a good example.

I was due to go there aged 14/15 for £5 assisted passage with an outfit tastefully named 'big brother luckily, I decided against it.

How long was it you would have had to stay Who? I know if you got assisted passage and you came back to the UK within a certain time you had to reimburse the Australian Gov. for your fare. I wonder how many took up the offer and have lived there happily ever since. Perhaps MT can tell us being an expert now on all things Australian.

I remember a certain person proclaiming "I don't read his posts anymore" what happened?

Controversy is always a good subject, people thrive on it, just look this original post has now got three pages of replies.... There are not many posts get past page One, maybe I should be a page three Icon.

If you are referring to me MT I never said I didn't read your posts but ST's posts. Which after I said it I never did, when I say I am going to do something then I do unlike you who have taken your bat and ball home more times than can be counted. How many different persona's have you had on this site alone?
