Why is today's date relevant Horus? Let's hope the culprits are found quickly.

There was once a time that Christians, Muslims and Jews lived side by side without any problems in Egypt. What has happened to the world I ask myself!

Well up here most of them still do, it's the evil influence of 'the beirdy-weirdy's that cause all the problems..
Hang the lot all of them on Xmas Day, Now that would cause a bit of a stir on the international stage..... 8)

There has been conflict between the various religions in Egypt ever since they co-existed. Only the degree of conflict has varied.

Thank goodness we now have a constitution guaranteeing freedom of religious belief.

Sadly, the death toll seems to have risen. This was not just a crime committed against Christians, but specifically against women and children.

As long as I live I will never understand what ie to be gained by such violent acts.

The people that commit these crimes do not seek to gain, just take away.

I thought the constitution only recognised Christians, jews and muslims and not all religions (but I could be wrong as it has been some time since I read the constitution)

The constitution guarantees freedom of regious belief and practice.

The government, and the laws and regulations it generates, do not always comply with the constitution . :ct
