I will be reliving a piece of my personal history this afternoon when I watch 7 Brides for 7 Brothers on Channel 5 (I watch uk tv on Filmon.com here). When I was 5 yrs old my mother took me to the “pictures”(it wasn’t called the cinema or movies in those days) for the very first time in my life. We hadn’t even got tv at home at that time so I cant even begin to make you understand what an absolutely mind blowing experience this film was for me as a small child. I was totally entranced and the memory has never left me after all these decades. I will be reliving it again this afternoon and singing along to every wonderful song.

Next time I pass the hotel Hatusu I will drop you off a CD then you can watch it to your hearts delight.
