Egyptian Football Terror Suspect

Egypt’s greatest football player has been placed on the terror list and can’t travel.
This follows the freezing of his assets in 2015.
Mohamed Aboutrika formerly of the al-Ahly club and 2000 African footballer of the year was a public supporter at some time in the past of the then Morsi government.
In 2015 The Guardian reported that he had ceased making public political statements from 2012 and it published the claim that a travel firm of which he was co-owner had been implicated in funding the beards/terrorism. At that time he denied involvement in his business partners alleged actions and claimed he had severed business ties well prior to 2015. https://www.theguardian.com/football/20 ... rotherhood
He is yet to be charged with any offence two years after having his assets frozen. Bit hard to prove your innocence if you've never been charged.
Al Ahram is a bit slow off the mark in reporting this but the BBC is reporting from Cairo that the street is treating this story with less than a straight face.

Football is a well regulated activity in Egypt with all types of controls. For example, The Huffington Post reported a few months ago that crowds attending Egyptian soccer matches have been banned for most of the past five years for security reasons. Is this true? If true must create cash flow problems.
