Just got an email about today's date from the Gov advisory service, have to go into Luxor later should I or should I not wear my flag t shirt?

Luxor was quiet this morning. I did my shopping in record time as the shops were almost empty of people. Bliss. But I did notice an increased police presence. I did not wear a flag T-shirt ....... !!

Any trouble is likely to flare up around 11pm if Egypt don't progress in the CAF Africa Cup of Nations. To be sure of progressing they need to draw or win.

Brian you have disillusioned me, I thought all the flags on sale today and the balloons were for the Revolution Day didn't realise they were for the big match.

Some may be for National Police Day, which pre-dates the revolution. The big match this evening is Leeds vs Nottingham Forest.

A draw would be a very good result for the Championship leading Seagulls! A win for Forest would be even better!!
