Seems as though 4 GCC states plus Egypt have broken off diplomatic relations with Qatar. It seems this has been going on for some time and is now coming to the surface. How will this affect the QR flight to Luxor? Watch this space.

Reading the 'what will the consequences of flights into and out of Egypt', Egypt air will be rubbing their hands together and opening an over-spill bank account. I will now have to choose another airline from the one I planed on using if and when I'm asked to leave for the visa reg's. So it will cost me more.

Damnation! After all these years we finally get direct flights to Luxor with Qatar Air (that don't go via Melbourne and take more than a day) and this happens. Back to going via Cairo and waiting for Egypt Air.
