The integrity of Trump

If you didn't watch the testimony of former FBI head James Comey before the US senate committee this afternoon, you missed one of the most riveting couple of hours of television I can recall.

Comey has called into question the integrity of the President of the United States...describing in detail the meetings he had with him and the notes he kept - because he believed the president might lie about it subsequently.

The follow up, and Trump's response, will be .......interesting. To say the least!

Is it actually possible to question something when it doesn't actually exist?

I enjoyed the show as well, pity there were no adverts to make a cup of tea. The older guy, one of the last questioners before the recess, can't remember his name, looks like a stand in for the planet of the apes. He really went on like a dog with the bone, Comey looked ****** off with his constant insistence for answers to the same questions. Comey looks like a good solid guy. Gets my vote.

Perhaps you meant John McCain

Yes...totally befuddled. Kept rambling about Hilary...the Republican stock diversionary tactic.

That's the one thanks. Trump twittered on about the ''show'' calling Comley a ''leaker.'' Well, speaking as a former leaker myself last week, Trump is positively oozing all manner of things with the exception of the truth. Dependent on the final outcome, his days could very well be numbered.

What a shame those "tapes" Trump keeps teasing us about don't exist.

If they did, and they vindicated Trump, we'd have heard them by now.

If they did, and they vindicated Comey, you can be sure they don't exist now!

Trumps staff and sound crew are possibly still making them in editing suite. :a6:

How can you put integrity & Trump in the same sentence?

In the same way, I suppose, that you can put reasonably sane individuals and the DUP in the same government :a17:
