TV Host Nashaat Eldeehy Calls upon Egyptians to Work an Extra Hour a Day: "To Hell with American Aid"

Nashaat Eldeehy, TV host on the Egyptian Tahrir TV channel called upon his compatriots to work an extra hour a day, following recent cuts in American aid to Egypt. "This will offset the American aid several times over," he said. "The U.S. embassy has to know that all the Egyptian people are saying: To hell with the American aid! We shall work an extra hour!" His address aired on his show on August 23.

You have to feel sorry for the average Egyptian assailed by this kind of garbage rhetoric when all they want to do is watch "Arab Got Talent" or some old black & white slapstick comedy.

I'm sure most of them would be more than happy to work an extra hour....if they had a job and it paid more than slave rates.

"To hell with American aid!" I can see the generals thinking....."Whoaa...you mean the 10% economic portion? Not our $2.5 billion!!"

I suppose that if enough now think that the earth is flat, they could suggest that all Egyptians run West to tip the balance in their favor. From what I have been told, the main problem is getting what they are due to after they have done their days toil.
