Alison and I are laying under a straw pyramidal beach hut on a double bed drinking hibiscus and sprite for Alison.
Looking out to sea while I listen to the moonflower album and she's catching up with her pals on Facebook.
It's damn hard work in this tropical heat, but someone has to do it.....

We have been getting messages from people asking if we are ok after the second earthquake.
Rumours of my death are unfounded, and I am still alive and kicking ass.....
My deepest sympathies to those souls in Mexico city and I hope that all those missing will be all right.
On a positive note, the death toll is no where near what it was in 1985 when a quake of equal magnitude hit that place.
