 Enjoyable....many thanks.

So Hawass and Eldamaty entered Egyptology as a last resort, having failed at law and medicine respectively.

Why am I not surprised.........

Read this earlier and thought that's good.
When I lived in Cairo the cultural circle was very small, everybody knew everybody.
I once met a weirdo writer called 'twiggers or Robert Twigger, married to an Egyptian BBC lady with two kids and
a heavy duty Toyota.
We did many trips deep into the the western desert,
even to the point of riding specially designed bicycles into the great sea sand.
He once walked into the desert with just wa.ter, he was quite nuts and wrote a book about each mad thing he attempted.
Ie: Catching the World's longest snake $25000 prize he lost, he also sold lots of his escapades to TV.

He left to safer climes as did many foreign intellectuals during our revolution..'shame really..

'Twiggers' another strange `englishman abroad...
"The Salvation of Mankind lies in making everything the responsibility of All"
Sophocles.
