Whilst not technically Egypt I've just watched Jane Mcdonald's latest adventure, this time cruising doen the Ganges. The cruise really does mirror that of Nile cruises and I found it really entertaining.
To be honest with you Crewmeal The Nile does look much cleaner than the Ganges. The places reminded me of Egypt alot, packed, heavy traffic, car horns, masses of ekectric cables, and run down places. But like you say an interesting little program.
Just been watching the above programme. The boat in this episode sailing in Vietnam and Cambodia is similar to Nile cruise ships. I hope she'll venture down The Nile in a future episode like Joanna...

Just been informed that forum member Jane Aksher has died of a heart attack while in the UK at the beginning of September. She had her good and bad points, but knowledgable in all things Egyptian....
