With the participation of fourteen volunteers, Youth Love Egypt Foundation members organized an event to clean Aswan's Nile shores from plastic wastes. They stressed on the important role of raising awareness of plastics pollution threats.

Youth Love Egypt Foundation announced the eco-friendly "cleanshores" campaign on April 13 to cut down on plastic wastes. Foundations and NGOs from nearly five countries (Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Ukraine and Nigeria) announced their participation in the campaign.
Events of the two-year campaign have been organized in six governorates so far. These events, come under the supervision of the United Nation Regional Office in Cairo.
