‘Youth Love Egypt’ cleans Aswan's shores for 6th time.

For the sixth time, Youth Love Egypt Foundation went to Aswan (Upper Egypt) to launch a new stage of their eco-friendly campaign to collect the plastic wastes.

With the participation of fourteen volunteers, Youth Love Egypt Foundation members organized an event to clean Aswan's Nile shores from plastic wastes. They stressed on the important role of raising awareness of plastics pollution threats.

Youth Love Egypt Foundation announced the eco-friendly "cleanshores" campaign on April 13 to cut down on plastic wastes. Foundations and NGOs from nearly five countries (Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Ukraine and Nigeria) announced their participation in the campaign.

Events of the two-year campaign have been organized in six governorates so far. These events, come under the supervision of the United Nation Regional Office in Cairo.

Well done those volunteers, shame that people just throw plastic and other junk away, problem is it happens everywhere.

I likewise applaud the volunteers.

But FOURTEEN !!??

I think you’d need a damn sight more than that to make much impact on the Nile shore at Aswan.
