Well if anybody is coming to Luxor, I would happily exchange a few beers for a copy of this.
Our two favorite restaurateurs, Fergus & Trevor.

Re: St John's the Restaurant.
Just spotted this, another reason why we all love Fergus, 'silly old sod.....
Fergus Henderson has some stern words for phones that appear on the tables at his Michelin-starred Clerkenwell restaurant. “They are the barrier to conviviality,” he says. “Your phone is not your tool for eating, it should not be on the table with your knife, fork, glass and bread.”
Known around the world for stripping British food back to basics, St John wants dinner to be about the simple joy of eating – and that means paying attention to the little sign outside the dining room that asks you not to use a phone within its walls.
Those who can’t bear the technological separation may use them in the bar –
but we suspect even this is a bit far for Henderson...
'Love him and his crew, all very chilled and convivial, people talk with each other..
Nick & I had lunch with Kenneth Cranham once after he did HBO Rome...
Ps: And threw-up with Lindsey Duncan at a St John's 'champers & oyster party.....
