I am all for cleaning up this planet, and doing what we can on that score. but if you look at the bigger picture its already happening and has happened in the past..
If we never had coal there would be no trees left, if we never had gas, the coal fires in cities would have choked us all to death by now, or we would have run out. Solar is on its way and electric is rapidly replacing fossil fueled transport and heating..

This world can look after itself, all it takes is a bit of faith and see the bigger picture that is emerging.. Im glad I dont live in Greta's world...

If I had a TARDIS, I would take her back to the 1960's and walk her around any city, take in the air and see how we lived back then. Show her the canals and streets, show her the homes we had, and then offer her the chance to stay there.
Better still send her back to medieval times and put her on a farm, then tell her. "Hope your crops dont fail this year or you are dead" !

Visible pollution needs to be tackled, as does the crap that we dont need like disposable plastic items, and cheap crap in XMas Crackers.. We should value our resources and use them wisely.

But then gain, things are being done, people are more aware, and rivers are being cleaned of plastic waste, ( we have machines for that now in many locations ) and recycling is now a massive industry in itself. Cars and homes prodcue less pollution than they have ever done, and solar power is heating water and providing electricty.

No one has any proof about this climate change, and even worse no one has any solutions.
As is evident, Climates change and cycle around, as is perfectly clear when you stare into a cliff face and see the layers of rock, all in perfect patterns, repeating themselves.

We have come so far in the last 50 years, and life is better for all ! Poverty ( which is relative as even the poor are fat these days) is at its lowest ever, the standard of living is better than ever and getting better.

Things progress naturally and while I am no fan of Government, the best decision they have ever made in my lifetime is to ban the sale of fossil fueld cars by 2040, so that is another impending massive leap forward.

Incidently, If humans could solve the desertification of Africa with some clever thinking and logic, that entire continent could home and support 28 Billion people...

Our current issue, which is not really an issue is that 70 % of this world is covered with water, and 30% is land, out of that land only 30 % is habitable. and yet we have not inhabited and used any where near all that 30 %.
