I’m surprised the idea hasn’t been floated in Egypt. They’re renowned for barmy pseudo-scientific cures.
In fairness to Trump he was just throwing out random ideas. Clearly, he didn’t attend any science lessons at school, or slept through them. We don’t expect our leaders to be knowledgeable on everything...they have expert teams at their beck and call.... but , honestly, would you have much faith in a man who suggests that such a bizarre idea is even worth thinking about?
just been sent a you tube video of Trump assuring someone that he and his team had all been vaccinated against the virus.
This was supposedly caught on an open mike prior to a press conference.
He may have been injected with the light.
I'm sure that by the end of the day it will all be 'Fake News!' 'I didn't say that.' The documentary evidence - no matter how well recorded - of his comments never seem to be sufficient to convict him.

Well we have it solved here, restrictions on shop opening hours lifted, all shops now allowed to be open till 9pm. Restaurants allowed to open but only as take aways.
From what I have been told business as usual over on the east bank, people wandering about, masks? what for it's not Halloween. Gloves it's not cold, social distancing? Do you want to dance?
We are in the middle of a terrible sand storm that is forecast to last well into tomorrow, hopefully that will keep people at home for a little while.

It’s beginning to look as though Egypt is going for the “herd immunity” approach. You can see the logic...if the entire population is infected then social distancing, curfews etc can be abandoned and the economy restored. And when everyone’s recovered, and can no longer transmit the virus, Egypt can open its doors to tourism as a “safe” destination.
Makes a lot of sense.
Except for the thousands who might die in the process. But...hey...what a neat way to lessen the over- population problem.
