Went down to Waitrose's to purchase 'posh stuff unavailable in t'co-op.
I was going to purchase some palatable 'posh wines, but spotted their own brand Spanish & Italian Reds.
£4.50 half the price of Egyptian Obelisk and Cleo and..... twice as good.

So what with fags at £13.50 a pack, I am economising.
Went into the Co-Op, checked the bottom wine shelf and found theirs at £4.30 bought a couple of bottles.
South African and Spanish Garnacha, quite drinkable, but then drinking so much Egyptian wine whilst probably ruining my palette for oenophilia time to give up becoming a sommelier, and to start smoking roll-ups....

Ps: Please vindicate my use of 'posh terms that's how wine snobs pontificate....
Pss: *Not recommended for white wines though...........

Some of the decent wines are found on the bottom shelf in French supermarkets, but my knees are a bit knackered

That is where most of our wine is found Gopha. You can also try the 3 Lt wine boxes from the same vignerons which are on slightly higher shelves. Around 7 to 9 Euros a pop. à votre santé!
