Sky News has carried out the first ever scientific research into plastic pollution in the River Nile - and discovered that a staggering three-quarters of the fish analysed contained microplastics.

Only three-quarters?

I’m surprised they found ANY fish without micro plastics.

Recent surveys have found that nearly all UK rivers are contaminated with micro plastics.

I used to live up in Mokattam above the Zabbaleen town, driving down the mountain sometimes spotting an upturned rubbish wagon gone over the edge. The road down was built like a race track, still is.
Nice people the zabbelians they do a terrific job,
they got shafted during the swine flu, big business thought they could do a better job. ha!

They have an amazing rock cut cathedral there as well, 'busy buggers them Zabbaleen's...

" I wonder if any tour groups ever visited' ? I think CV19 has 0% of surviving there having seen their town,
from a distance, that's a long distance.....8)
Ps: You couldn't see the Pyramids from the mountain after 10am 'smog-city..

Love that area, do you remember some years ago the hills collapsed and buried a lot of the homes. Pres Mubarak promised all the people new homes. I wonder how many got them.

And this from today's news:
A situation of discontent among the people of Luxor governorate, after monitoring the citizens of garbage accumulation, in front of the place dedicated to the examination of suspected cases and receiving patients of the new corona virus "ko 19" at Luxor General Hospital, and the spread of medical waste in front of it.

Definitely, CV 19 is a knockout! .... 8)
