The Egyptian government has instructed all Cairo taxis to drive around sounding their horns.

It’s hoped that a return to the familiar cacophony of the city will help restore calm following the pandemic.

Operation “ Toot and Calm ‘em “ is expected to last for a week.

What a brilliant idea. The peace and quiet that has descended on Cairo to be disrupted by tooting taxis all day and night. Who thinks them up.
Toot and calm is more likely to make my blood boil.
