Just as a matter of fact, the clocks were put back this weekend in many Western World Countries, did Egypt adjust their clocks or, have they left them unchanged?

The history of daylight saving time in Egypt is complicated. It was cancelled in both 2015 and 2016, after having been abolished and reinstated several times.
It hasn’t been resurrected since 2014...so, in answer to your question, they are unchanged this year

Just asked 'Alexa' the question and she tells me that Egypt is now 2 hours ahead of the UK......she is my girlfriend on my desk.

I was asking because I need to get there for a couple of days, to get something sorted legally... and times of flights. Don't want to be in Cairo airport duringhoursof darkness.

You ticket will tell you time of arrival and it will be Egyptian time.

Last time I was in Cairo airport they had all the electric lights switched on.

No use the lights being on if no one is home!

Ah thanks all for that, Egypt and Cyprus are both on the same time now! I can get my visa and booked...will only be in Luxor 1 night, then a return home 2 days later, due to flights being cut between the two Countries. I will just have to have my 2nd test done on return though, being a resident its €60.

There could be power cuts!

There could well be, but somehow I don't think Egypt putting their 'cocks' back or not will help in predicting that.

No, but if local cocks scare you, it is safer to travel before it gets dark.

Oh my god, reading the answers I have just realised that I made a mistake, a normal spelling mistake for me. The tile should have read Did Egypt put the CLOCKS BACK. Sorry about that everyone, hope it did not offend anyone....

Unfortunately your spelling mistake has repercussions. It's the butterfly effect thing. The space and time continuum principle. Egyptian men are now sending women on Tinder photos of their impressive clocks. Video chats are even weirder as they lift their Galabiyahs to reveal wonderful Swiss mechanisms. Unfortunately it is worse for the Egyptian air force when one fighter pilot was heard to say. 'Bogey at five a cock.' Chickens are failing to lay eggs due to the spill over into poultry when hens are mated with a Postman alarm clock. Clock-a-doidle-do.

Being familiar with MT's stile of post wording, I think this is one of his cock and bull stories lol. But gave a glimmer of cheer in these dark times.

Someone needs to tell MT that Egyptians stopped playing with their cocks years ago.
