Well the good news, they have tied the knot. I do genuinely hope she finds happiness and it doesn't cost her too much.

Apparently they held their reception in a KFC.

Although they met via an online site for exploring atheism, Iris has converted to Islam. An unnecessary move, I’d have thought. Maybe Mohamed thinks she’ll look better in an abaya.

Iris also made a plea to prime minister Boris Johnson to help Mohamed get a visa to come to the UK.

Addressing the PM, she said: “Do your best and get the whip out and get Mohamed a Visa for the UK”. Whip? Maybe she was still dreaming of their wedding night.

“He would be an asset for the country, he’s a qualified engineer, and he would be good for the economy,” she added, insisting she would ensure he would not be out of work. Besides, pushing Iris around in a wheelchair will be a full time job soon.

We can never have enough Egyptian engineers.....just look at the Pyramids! Mind you, some of their more recent structures have a tendency to collapse. Or maybe he’s an industrial engineer?

Have you noticed most Egyptians get their white goods from abroad. Likewise their cars. Go figure!
