Leaving the UK hasn't even started yet and Luton Airport seems the place not to fly from.

Am I right in thinking that whilst most British citizens are not permitted to travel, it seems people from eastern Europe are free to come and go at will?. A look at the LTN monitor seems to show about 85% of the passenger flights are to or from eastern Europe.

Of course there’s no obstacle to foreigners coming to U.K. ....although those from India and elsewhere face an enforced quarantine at government hotels, at their own expense.

As regards leaving, most foreigners will be returning home ...which is permitted.

The real mayhem will begin next week when there’s little obstacle to Brits escaping for a bit of sunshine, despite exhortations for them not do do so.

I think Grant Shapps et al were wasting their breath on that one...and I’ll be off like a rat out of drain, flights permitting .
