The latest lunacy project....a suspension bridge over Lake Nasser.

Wazir said that a contract will soon be signed to build the longest suspension bridge over Lake Nasser to accommodate the railway line connecting Cairo to Khartoum, Egypt Independent reports.

Only one bridge? Why not two....perhaps three??

A ramble but I was up until 4am sorry...

Back in January 2019 the then chief minister at the F.C.O., (or should I now call it F.C.D.O.), a man called Boris Johnson, suggested it might be a good idea to build a bridge across the English Channel to encourage competition with the Eurotunnel, he has obviously never crossed that sea way in the middle of Winter.

With regards to the similar ludicrous idea with Lake Nasser, it has more to do with political tensions with Ethiopia, which the rest of the diplomatic world and its child have got fed up talking about.

P.S. - Did I mention,......there is already built a super highway between Egypt and Sudan.
