Egypt moves to digitalise entry requirements

From today, Egypt is scrapping the health declaration form required of all arrivals and requiring instead registration, 2 days before travel, on www.visitegypt.gov.uk. They then issue you with a QR code.

A total nightmare

People have only just come to terms with the paperwork required for vaccinated/unvaccinated entry.

Apparently, this move is designed to ease the congestion caused by examination of documents.

That the website is currently unavailable - and hasn’t been all day- doesn’t bode well
