Getting to know......

Post by Who2 »

Having been here for a few years now except for those covid days, we or i am back on track.
The lift is now working and the 'roof-bar turnaround is soon to be started.
Whist up there I have decided to empty the old pigeon loft and bring back the hammam.

It now being occupied by 3000 classic cassette videos rescued from the Cairo Film Club after our 1st revolution, and a
'host/quarrel of ruddy Cockney Sparrows. (noisy b*****) typical cockney 'rabbit....

Alongside the feathered I have, 3 pairs ring-necked doves, 2 pairs kingfishers, an owl, 2 x budgies, 17 goldfish, egrets idle on our bridge, Aidas' cat Cruella and mad-dog Ishta Oh! and not forgetting Aidas' next door (biussines) menagerie.
(chickens, buffalo cheese & milk & eggs)

I'm also very much into watching our village's never ending crop rotation from my balcony.
It's sugar cane time again, next week it will all be aflame.

Now that the large canal refurbishment has been completed, I will have to start thinking about the rebuilding of my
canalside Corniche retreat, where I used to watch Warrens and Mongoose families.. 'tales of the riverbank.

I already have a Kayak but will upgrade to seagull powered craft and motor down to La Galta.
When I lived on The Grand Union, Saturday we would all motor our narrowboats down to Kensal Rise Sainsburys' xxx 8)

Ps: How does one turn on automatic spell checker on a ruddy PC ?
G&T ice & slice time, methinks!...tara

How does one turn in spell checking.?

This can be done at the operating system level and also depending on which Web browser you are using it can be anabked there as well.

We would need to know which version of Windows you are using. Windows 10 or 11 etc. and also which Web browser. Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc. I should be able to give you the necessary instructions then.
Don't look back. That's not the direction you are travelling towards.
