Confidence...

As a 16 year old one of my many and various attributes was of a 'shiner (window cleaner)
The art was to get the ticket signed off, not necessarily cleaning the windows in all weathers come snow, rain or shine.
Windows get dirty because each drop of rain encapsulates a bit of dust, hence dirty windows..
We used to clean a lot of shop windows in Regents St, Burberry's, Aquascutum, Dewers whiskey, and 15 story buildings on winches, cranes and hoists.
So, I do know a bit about hanging off a rope earing good $$$ bucks..
Confidence is the key !!!!
One goes from 1st floor up, each step relying on the equipment and did I tie off the top rope securely ?
Starting from the top down 10 floors is high...lol
I've laid on parapets watching the London scene pass by below, having a rest and a fag.
Cleaned the windows of diamond cutters in Hatton Garden, watching the old boys at work with 'sparkling windows,
cleaning the window displays of Burberry's & Aquascutum, it's another life high up and at dawn in London..
"Back to Confidence, my hoist/lift to the roof is still under debate. I rise to the 1stfloor, a measly 20'ft but the roof needs a better Bosuns' chair methinks, if I'm going to get guests to use it..
As my mate Andy used often to quote: "Remember the 7 'P's......
Ps: 'Happy Easter'
