I've had this film for some time and finally got into it...

Gertrude Bell another eccentric & clever English fruitcake..but they do her an injustice here.
Beautifully directed and filmed.
Werner Hertzog, a right German nutter also directed another German 'nutter Klaus Kinski.

I had been given a book by a female companion and written by some bloke called Paolo, it was about a bloke riding a camel through the desert,
very apt I thought, considering our circumstances..

If you happen to be a couple of months out towards Libya on the back of a Camel, 'I thoroughly recommend reading it.
'One can read quite comfortably whilst riding one's camel, but one cannot write as wrongly depicted in Lawrence of Arabia
and just noticed the same in the end of this film..
