Never been a pigeon fancier, I just like providing easy 'take-away's and watching the flock,flock. Twice a day they pop down for a shower and nosey around....
Mmm, love it when our native pigeons (cresteds and bronzewings) pop in for some seed and a sip or two. Pretty soft colours and sounds. They sit on the lawn under the sprinkler and raise one wing at a time to wash their arm pits!
Nearly ran off the road last week as a bunch of stupid maggies were attacking another beside the freeway, and were so involved they moved onto the road into the traffic. I was busy recovering from the fright, so didn't notice if cars following me hit them.
