Re: 60th anniversary of Treaty of Rome
Get your shovel ready, the EU will collapse very soon and is unlikely to last much longer.
Sadly the politico ruined an excellent idea with their ineptness, greed and ideology of self importance.
On a more cheerful note, Elton John is 70 today, and still creating wonderful music..

Don't look back. That's not the direction you are travelling towards.

Re: 60th anniversary of Treaty of Rome
One of the reasons I like him so much.
He said that he dresses like that to get attention, because he said on stage, I don't stand up to sing or play an instrument, and sitting behind a 9 foot piece of wood is pretty boring for audiences to look at.
I have always said that if there is such a thing as reincarnation, then Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is having a brilliant time in the 20th and 21st Century....
Quite frankly with all the joy, inspiration and education that Elton, Bernie and the band have given me, he is worth every single penny he has earned.
My top 2 Musical hero's are Elton John and Jeff Lynne, both very generous kind and helpful people, and multi talented way beyond anyone else I have ever heard.
Einstein said of Mozart's music that "Mozart's music is so pure and beautiful that I see it as a reflection of the inner beauty of the universe"
230 years later, I feel the same way about Elton and his music.
Don't look back. That's not the direction you are travelling towards.
